Gull Bay First Nation Chief Wilfred King got an alleged $1.5-million surprise after returning to office in band elections over the weekend.

A member of King's staff on Monday said that that’s how much money is unaccounted for. The chief plans to ask for a band council audit from the new council to determine their exact financial position.
