As you know, serious evidence has emerged in the last week of systematic fraud in the 2011 Canadian federal election.[1] Now we need your help to make sure that Canadians learn the whole truth and protect the most basic integrity of our democratic process.

The NDP and Greens have joined your call for a public inquiry. The Liberals are focused on a broad investigation by Elections Canada and they have said =

Here are some key points you can use:

a.. The news about the robocall election fraud scandal keeps getting worse.
b.. There are reports that illegal calls took place in dozens of key swing ridings all over the country. This looks like a systematic campaign to mislead non-Conservative voters.
c.. It takes serious money and major phone number databases to target non-Conservative voters in multiple close ridings. Who paid? Where did the lists come from? Who decided?
d.. We need full, immediate, and publicly accountable investigations that include all affected ridings. We need a public inquiry to to learn the whole truth and restore the basic integrity of our democracy.

f.. If you get caught stealing a car, you don't get to keep the car. If the party in government is found to be responsible for systematic electoral fraud then there must be new elections.

The Daily Caller has a big fat Super Tuesday post up. Does anyone remain who thinks Santorum will upset Romney? Is it a done deal? Is it possible, and I ask as a Canadian with limited knowledge of US election law, that everyone can get together and decide not to have a President for the next 4 years?

At the end we may find that no one currently running for the job is interested any longer and a new crop will have arisen to take their place. That's a win win in my book.

Students angered over decision on Eisenstein

After months of investigation, tenured Associate Professor of Political Science Maurice Eisenstein was found not guilty of harassment. Eisenstein came under fire from both students and student organizations last November for comments made in the classroom and on his, at the time, personal Facebook page. Protests and petitions eventually lead to an investigation, in which Eisenstein was recently found not guilty.

It appears from all indications that while the investigation might be over, the protests will continue. Protest organizer Joel Novak explained that there is still a movement under foot to have some kind of action taken against Eisenstein. He explained, "We've been working in conjunction with other organizations, like Committee Advocating Islamic Rights (CAIR). We're going to a dinner this weekend to gain support and to see what we can do. There will be a mixture of Social Justice Club members and Muslim students that were active in the protest. We can't give up, because this is outrageous on both a moral and political level."
